kpi leadership
Leadership dashboards fail when they mirror every team’s local chart. The useful set is small: one north-star tied to value delivered, a handful of input metrics the org can move, and a quality guardrail so growth does not hide harm.
Each metric needs a written definition, a refresh cadence, and a named owner. If two teams calculate “active user” differently, the dashboard is theater.
We strip vanity tiles during KPI framework engagements and leave space—literally—so new metrics must earn a slot rather than accumulate.
